Living A Pain Free Life – Is It Possible?

Is it possible to live a pain-free life, and is the pain that we feel in any given moment a longing to return to one's original state perhaps, not knowing how to accomplish that?

2022 has been a year of transformation, letting go, and reinventing oneself (I think most of us are still working on this one?) It's been a year of purging layer upon layer of cellular memory long forgotten within our conscious minds to help pave the way for the next steps to be shown.

Are you delving deeper into the pain to find its origin?

What I know for sure is that the experience of pain serves as a warning that something is wrong within our flow, that beautiful way of living harmoniously with all that IS.

When pain is felt emotionally, mentally, or physically it's a sign that there has been a disruption to the natural flow of energy within our BEing, and our nervous system alerts us that something is wrong. The pain, therefore, is a gift, not an enemy.

When we shift our perspective and beliefs around pain, it soon becomes our greatest ally and friend. We are, in short, being forewarned that something is going on within us that needs our attention immediately.

Without experiencing pain, how would we know that there are distorted energies within us? How would our Higher Self communicate? That all-wise, all-knowing part of us that IS the lighthouse throughout our earthly experience. Pain, therefore, is a much-needed tool we can collaborate with instead of despising it.

If you experienced no pain, your bodies (emotional, mental, and physical) could wear out quickly and would not serve you for the many years of life experience you came here for.

Identifying the root cause of our pain when it appears is the work and vital to ensure it's passing in the most harmonious way.

Early on in my awakening journey, I had such a deep longing for home. I didn't fit in and didn't understand the reason for having to endure such painful experiences throughout my life. 'WHY AM I HERE???!!!'

Each one of us has a knowing, deep within, that while Earth serves as our physical home, we also have a spiritual home that we unconsciously long for. That in and of itself IS painful. We miss home and want to go back however, we didn't come here to live a life of yearning to go back there, a merry-go-round indeed of constant emotion.

At some point, when we've experienced enough pain (death of a loved one, divorce, loss of a job, health issues, etc.) it forces us to stop and evaluate our lives. For most, it's called the Hero's Journey - The hero's journey is a common narrative archetype, or story template, that involves a hero who goes on an adventure, learns a lesson, wins a victory with that newfound knowledge, and then returns home transformed.

Pain, therefore, is a GIFT albeit, a challenging one. Without it, life would hold little meaning.

As we finish out these next few weeks of a very challenging year I invite you to make amends with your pain. Talk to it. LISTEN to it. What is it trying to tell you? What lies beneath the pain? What is its root cause?

If you are experiencing pain, what are you not looking at? What are you repressing that wants to be seen so that it too can be freed?

Our Higher Self is with us every step of the way and knows what baggage we've carried throughout time, doing its best to try and get our attention. PAIN, is the gift. PAIN is the indicator that there is something buried deep within you and I longing for freedom.

Yes, we all miss home, and yes, we all want to be freed on some level of these human shackles that at times, seem to chain us to a reality that feels unbearable. However, you came here to expand and evolve with pain as your closest confidant and trusted friend.

My hope is that you become friends with your pain and welcome it in so that as you look in the rearview mirror one last time, you'll appreciate your trusted companion who has served you so well.

May December be a month of introspection, a month of delving deeper into the caverns of your soul so that 2023 can be a year of new beginnings, new joys, new creations, and a year filled with appreciation and gratitude for this experience we call life.

In LOVE & friendship, Tamaey
